Dr. Damena Agonafer is a professor of thermodynamics at Washington University in St Louis. He teaches undergraduate and graduate versions of the thermodynamics courses. The undergraduate course, Thermodynamics (MEMS 301), teaches students about the basics of the laws of thermodynamics and how to apply these laws to thermal systems. The graduate course, Thermal Management of Electronics (MEMS 5425), focuses on teaching students about thermal management of micro electronic systems and modern cooling systems used for computer chips, ranging from air cooling with heat sinks to two-phase heat exchange devices.
